Liturgical, Finance, Social, Vocations & St Mary's Cemetery Committees.
The Liturgical Committee, with the input of the pastor, discuses and decides the proper expressions of the liturgy, for example, the decorations, music, ceremonies, literature, etc. which enhances the sacredness and spirituality of our public worship. This includes the music ministry, altar servers, lectors, those responsible for the upkeep of the altar linens (purificators, corporals, finger tip towels), internal decoration, and the role of the sacristan.
Ministers of Communion are those who have special love of Christ in the Eucharist. They participate in the mass by giving Communion to the faithful, and by bringing it to the homebound.
Lectors are those who proclaim the Word of God during the celebration of the mass and assist with the Prayer of the Faithful.
Altar Servers are those called to serve during the mass. They help set the pace and help to guide the congregation in the responses and actions during the mass. They help to bring a spirit of holiness and reverence to the celebration. We seek servers grades 4-12 once they have celebrated 1st Communion, however, any age - even seniors - are welcome.
The Liturgical Committee is always ready to include and welcome anyone who would like to help plan or implement our liturgical services. Please contact the parish office if you are interested in assisting.
The Parish Finance committee is mandated by Canon Law as an advisory body to the pastor. It normally meets at least four times a year and not only produces quarterly and annual reports, but also assists in setting, monitoring and maintaining the budget, presents reports to the community at least yearly, liaisons with the Parish Leadership Council, implements financial controls, utilizes effective internal parish controls (bank accounts, cash/payroll, correspondence, etc.) and ultimately makes business decisions for the parishes.
The Finance Committe is currently seeking collection counters to assist our Parish Bookkeeper.

The Social committee promotes the social aspect of the church community. It seeks to gather people together in informal settings so that they can meet other parishioners and mingle with the community. The yearly St. Patrick’s Dinner celebration helps fund the annual Parish Picnic. Coffee and pastries are also offered after some Sunday Masses. Watch the parish bulletin for when it is offered. Volunteers have signed up to help supply and assist with the events, such as the St. Theresa's Cookie Walk and the Parish Christmas Fair at St. Theresa's and St. Mary's Old Fashioned Christmas. The Craft Fair offers others to display their talents to the community. Meetings are open to everyone and are held regularly.

The Vocations committee strives to promote holiness in all vocations — single, married, ordained and religious. It especially strives to promote vocations to the priesthood.
We meet occasionally and correspond by e-mail. We promote prayer and awareness through our vocations table and bulletin board, the vocations chalice and cross, and our community prayer for vocations following masses. Let us continue to pray intensely for many holy priests by adding one daily prayer to our regular routine.
